So Exciting!!!!!
Well tomorrow, Wednesday is the day weather permitting to go and get the "famous" chair!!!Gerard's friend Geoff Tye kindly helped me get the "chair" to Machele's in Moorabbin about a month ago and last week Gerard and Geoff towed it in the trailer to Geoff's place in Mt Waverley. Today it is being taken to Coongulla to Geoff's holiday home by removalists as Geoff has sold his house in Mt Waverley and part of his stuff is going to the country house so luckily there is room for "the chair" to fit in the truck for the long trip. Tomorrow Gerard and I are going to the holiday house to pick up the chair with the trailer, so exciting. The holiday house is about an hour and a half drive away which is a bit easier for the old Holden and trailer to travel with the "big" chair... along the quiet country roads. Keep posted and for some photos!!!
Well today the glorious weather has returned, expected to be about 19 degrees and the sun is wonderful and warming once again. Am sitting in the loungeroom, should be on the chair in the verandah lapping up the sun. Still got the jammies on at 9.30am, bare feet are so cold, but am too lazy to get up just yet..
What is in store for today??? Well the old hip is being a bit stubborn this morning so will be taking it easy for a while. Moved too much yesterday in the Palace!!! typical, but it does not take much to upset the "old" body.... anyway enough of the whinging. I think I will go now and get dressed and walk down to the water's edge and lap up the peace and quiet. uh oh!! a Plover has broken the silence carrying on don't tell me they have a nest again happening obviously someone is walking past as the dogs have also run out and barking madly. It drives me up the wall as they should be used to the people walking by all the time. Nup bugger it I think I will just go out on the verandah and lounge on the swing and lap up the sun, maybe have another snooze for a while. Hey why not?????
O.k. will talk again soon with some pics of the chair and will also put up some pics of the moon rising the other night.
