The Smoke is back!
| So when we went to bed last night it was very warm so we had the overhead fan on low and eventually drifted off to sleep. It was one of those restless nights, partly cause it was hot, the other the fan being on which is not the norm! So finally at 6.30 I got up with the strong smell of smoke once again! Looking out the bedroom window, I knew at once what the day is going to be like once again. Yep the smoke is back well and truly. From the kitchen window the sun was struggling to get through the smokey clouds and now an hour later It has broken through a little bit, but it is a firey orange ball with no rays! I keep feeling like I am going to sneeze! I did say to Gerard if it is flat water again today we will go for a paddle, but even though the water is flat, the visibility is not good so probably won't go out, no we won't be going out today! So frustrating, it is either so windy the water is too choppy or the water is so smooth but the visibility is so bad!!! Patience is the key!!! not too good with that at the moment. I will get off my big bum and take a look at the sun and see if it is worth a picture and do a bit of cleaning and tidying up here before it gets too hot, expected to be about 33 again. Am meeting Narelle tomorrow for a stamping session which will be so good, catching up on any news and getting into some ATC's for swapping. So bye for now will talk again soon! |
